How To Prioritize Your Time & Work ON Your Business
Run a business that fits into your life!
Whether you are on or off the floor everyday, it’s extremely important to prioritize the time that you do spend working ON your business
Doing it this way will give you the freedom to build your business as large as you like!
First and foremost, you need to remove all distractions and build a schedule that allows you to concentrate solely on these types of activities:
- Income-Producing Activities (work that focuses on increasing your income by expanding your customer base and sales volume)
- Creating targeted interest on social media & building your online brand
- Emails, snail mail, print media, local community connection marketing (delivering it to the world)
- Upselling, Retailing & Rebooking
- Creating Lifelong Client Loyalty (sending birthday letters, vouchers, email nurture campaigns etc)
- Building Referral Partners
- Attending Expo’s as a Stall Holder
- Attending Networking Events (make sure you represent your brand well & mingle)
- Running events (educating clients, mini treatments, event specials, business birthday celebrations)
Secondly, work that supports your business but doesn’t directly result in increased sales or clients:
- Personal & team development
- Setting your schedule
- Recognizing your staff members
- Staying on top of industry trends in products & services
- Delegating and setting staffs schedules (eg: ensuring your workspace is always spotlessly clean)
- Taking time to brainstorm innovative ways to pour love into your clients
- Building out fresh marketing material, brochures, cards, flyers etc
- Automating & systemizing your marketing
- Training days with staff on treatments, products, and customer service (upselling, retailing etc)
