I cannot believe how fast this year has flown by.. it feels like May was just yesterday and yet we are ALREADY getting ready for Christmas – CRAZY right?!
Before you know it you will be celebrating the New Year with your family and then ready to get stuck into work again, setting new goals for your business!
So, I thought I’d let you know how CRUCIAL it is to pre-plan for success and while I’m at it, share some tips and tricks on planning to give yourself the BEST possible chance at starting 2022 with a BANG!
The best place to start is with a 90 day game plan – aka planning your next 90 days of:
Service Goals
Retail Goals
Financial Goals
Marketing Content
Action Plan
It’s important to get clear on what do you want and when!
Then add in all the information into your calendar so you know EXACTLY what’s happening and when it’s happening.
It’s great to start by figuring out what your hourly rate is & then what your IDEAL weekly income is..
Once you have that, you can do the math’s on how many clients/week that will take you to achieve.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to work out what percentage of your weekly goal will be Retail.
How much do you need to be making per week to hit that goal? Break down your monthly/weekly goal into bite size daily pieces!
Then it’s time to plan how you intend on achieving that goal AKA HOW you’re going to get those clients through the door & HOW you’re going to retain them – this is the fun part
Here are a few examples to help you start brainstorming:
What’s your social media strategy?
What’s your email strategy?
Do you have B2B Referral Campaigns set in motion?
Do you have Client Referral Campaigns set in motion?
What Marketing Materials Need To Be Created?
Can you put together your packages, gift vouchers and printing NOW, so you have everything all ready to go when the time comes to release them.
Other things to consider…
Will you be doing any paid advertisements throughout this timeframe?
What’s your budget for that paid advertising?
What return do you expect to see?
Now, once you’ve done all this work to get these clients through, how do you plan on keeping coming back?
What kind of systems do you have in place?
Do you have automated text messages & emails going out to client appointments?
Do you have automated birthday campaigns & “we miss you campaigns” going out?
Do you have any membership subscriptions that can help keep clients with you for longer?
As you can see, there is plenty to plan and organise, but the best part is, once it’s all done and automated it means that the back end of your business can run without you and continue to grow, without you having to spend every spare minute creating the next promotion and following up manually with clients.
The point of all of this is to help you start your new year FRESH with a clear plan of attack, while looking back at last January evaluating what worked + what didn’t and seeing if there’s any campaigns you can re – use etc.
